easier way is to replace the push rod(the part on what he put those spacers on) and you don;t have to cut the spring. that's actually the difference between a 160mm and a 180mm domain. simple as "hello".

Tech Tuesday - Pedal Pin Retrofit

clipless are the best way to a really good crash. I've seen people used to riding on clipless unable to unclip and eat it really hard. If they would of had flats they could just jump off or put a foot out.
